Part of it is caused by what you tell yourself--your self-talk. Your self-talk creates beliefs about yourself. Your beliefs cause you to act in less than optimal ways. Your actions form un- productive behaviors. Start to turn performance blocks around by changing what you tell yourself. Instead of saying, "I can't please my audience." say "Even though I used to think I couldn't please my audience, and that will change, I completely accept myself just the way I am." Do this 2 to 3 times a day for a month.
