Backed by the latest study, some leading Internet gurus believe
that more people find sites by clicking on links from other sites
than by search engine popularity. Linking is a more reliable
way to get steady traffic to your site. And you don't have to "pull
all nighters" thinking up promotional efforts to even get anywhere
close to the top 20 positions, which could be short lived. Also...
- To the popular search engines, the
more links into and out of your site make your site appear more
valuable when someone is searching for your product or service.
This puts you higher in their results list, but . . .
the links need to be on the keywords that are important
to you.
- People coming to our site might not
find what they want. So they go to your site. We'd rather our
link partners get that business... and we're happy to get a chance
at business that is not right for you.
- We may be booked for a particular
date. We'll direct that business to our link partners first.
- You and we may have complimentary,
noncompetitive products and services. We can help our clients
find what they need while we help ourselves. Plus, your site will
appear professional and client oriented.
- The whole is greater than the sum
of all of its parts. Twenty horses together can pull more than
20 horses individually. That's teamwork. That's synergy. Working
together, we'll get more visitors than we would've gotten individually.
Think of our sites all linked together as one great target. A
big target is easier to hit than many tiny ones.

Yes, but...
We're not going to put our links button at the top of our home
page so visitors can jump straight to you. No way, Jay! We want
our visitors to book us and invest in our products and services
and our partners' offerings.
But if we haven't convinced them to invest in what we offer, why
not let our link partners have a chance with them before they leave?
We want the same from you.
If you haven't convinced your visitors with your reasons to use
your products and services, then we want some time with them. We
don't want your business. We want a chance at business that didn't
want you.
Finally, if no one ever clicks on your link on our site, it's still
valuable to you because of search engine link popularity. The search
engines see the link and rate your site higher. That's why you and
we should link our sites together.
